Graduation Announcement
After much consideration it is with great regret that we must announce the cancellation of the graduation ceremony planned for October 2020.
Although restrictions are gradually being lifted, there remains a high level of uncertainty, particularly concerning travel. This and the threat of a second wave of the virus in the autumn makes it extremely difficult to plan to celebrate the success of our students in our usual way.
This does not mean any delay to confirmation of completion of studies. We will still hold virtual exam boards to confirm progression and final awards and certificates may be issued through the post. Students who would have been invited to the ceremony this autumn will be invited to participate in the ceremony in 2021.
Precise dates for 2021 have yet to be confirmed, but everyone at the Institute looks forward to welcoming those of you who are due to graduate this year back to Maryvale next year to celebrate your achievements.
A Mass will be said around the time the ceremony would have been held, to mark the success of those who were due to graduate.
