Notes:

These notes apply to all students (unless otherwise stated):

(1) See Maryvale's Payment Of Fees Policy before commencing any course.

(2) Fees will rise annually. Precise figures will be published each year but, as a guide, increases will be in line with inflation.

(3) Fees quoted are in Pounds Sterling. Payment must be made at these rates in Pounds Sterling.

(4) Course Fees include all tuition fees, the provision of online materials and online access to the library. Intercalated students are also subject to additional lecture attendance costs if they choose to attend lectures during the break in their period of study. These costs do not apply, however, if their intercalation has ended. Please consult Maryvale's Institute-Wide Policies, Regulations and Guidelines for more on intercalation.

(5) Binding Fees (BA Philosophy and the Catholic Tradition, Ecclesiastical Bachelor of Divinity, MA in Catholic Applied Theology, Research in Catholic Studies students only): for programmes that require theses to be submitted, students will be required to meet the binding costs personally. Binding costs can vary and are often dependent on the length of the thesis and whether colour printed pages are required. Programme Administrators may be able to recommend a bindery on request. The number of bound copies required for submission varies by course, but does not exceed two (excluding any copy the student wishes for personal use).

(6)External Residentials (Research in Catholic Studies students only): each year during the 2 week residential at Maryvale, there is a trip to the partner institution, Liverpool Hope University, which varies in length from 1-2 days and costs an additional c.£300.

(7) Cancellations and Refunds: you have the right to cancel your enrolment on a programme within 14 days of the date of your acceptance letter. The cancellation must be made in writing (via post or email) within this cancellation period. In the event of cancellation within the time period, if you have paid your programme fees these will be returned to you, in the form of a cheque, on the return of any goods or materials provided (if any). Please note that, if the course is due to begin within 14 days of the date of your acceptance letter, you are expressly agreeing that the service (course) should begin within the cancellation period, in which case no refund will be available once the programme has commenced. Please also note that the registration fee is not refundable.

For full details for specific courses, please refer to the course literature.

* Single Module prices include assessment fees but no award. Just accumulating Single Modules cannot lead to a Validated Award. For a Validated Award, full course fees are required to be paid for the required number of years, as well as completing any other course-specific requirements.
