Join us online on Wednesday 16th February 2022 at 6.00pm (London time) for the St John Henry Newman Research Centre for Catholic Theology's Online Academic Forum, the latest in a series of occasional, public seminars by Maryvale academics. This time, Dr Jeremy Pilch, will be discussing Eastern Orthodoxy
.Dr Pilch teaches across a range of Maryvale's MA in Catholic Applied Theology modules and lectures specifically on Ecclesiology. In addition to his involvement with Maryvale, he is also a theology lecturer at St Mary’s University, Twickenham. He lectures across a range of topics, including Systematic Theology at MA and BA levels; Orthodox mystical theology for the MA in Christian Spirituality; Theological Anthropology, Christian Ethics, Ecclesiology, Eastern Christianity, for the BA programme. He is also the Programme Director for the BA In Theology, Religion, and Ethics.
Furthermore, Dr Pilch is a board member of Mater Ecclesiae College, established in 2019, which provides seminarian formation for Allen Hall and Wonersh seminarians, as well as ecclesiastical degrees. His membership of the St John Chrysostom Society reflects a strong personal commitment to Catholic-Orthodox reunion. He is also a contributor and theological advisor for Radio Maria England.
