Distinct, and belonging together
How Maryvale and Oscott relate.
Maryvale is a distinct formation institute within the Oscott family. St Mary's College Oscott trains men for the priesthood. Maryvale forms the whole Church, lay and ordained. The relationship is familial rather than hierarchical, and the two share a place, a tradition and a mission.
What this means for students
Students study under Maryvale's programmes and come to the Oscott campus for residential weekends, sharing in the life, library and chapel of the College.
