Francis Patton retires from Maryvale after 18 years of service

Francis Patton retires from Maryvale

On 24th September, after eighteen years working at Maryvale as maintenance and jack of all trades (and master of most of them) as well as tutor on the PGCE program and assistant in various other courses, Francis Patton retired.

It was after he retired from his outstanding teaching career that Francis came to Maryvale, at the invitation of Mgr. Danny McHugh, to 'help out' with a bit of course work, and has been a firm and much loved fixture ever since. He has turned his hand to every job that needed to done around the house, and has been a treasured support to staff, sisters and students alike, he will be greatly missed. We pray that the Lord will bless him with a long and happy retirement with Maureen and his beloved family.
