Ark of the Covenant
The Ark of the Covenant is a diocesan centre in Coventry for evangelisation and prayer, serving Catholic parishes and communities. Established in response to the call to universal holiness of Vatican II, it aims to meet the needs of the Church by helping to develop a dynamic sense of mission and community and, by facilitating the spiritual growth of the laity, enabling them to become more effective witnesses to the Gospel.
In close collaboration with Maryvale, the Ark offers training courses, leadership formation courses and retreats for parish groups, adult learners, youth leaders and individuals. Fr. David Keniry, Director of the Ark, teaches Evangelisation and Ministry at Maryvale. Several components of Maryvale courses are taught on weekend courses at the Ark.
