Academic papers by Maryvale staff are now available for download. These papers originated in Maryvale's Academic Forums which are open to Maryvale Staff and research Students.
Library and Learning Resources.
The Institute's reference library of more than 15,000 books, periodicals and other publications, is available to staff, students and visitors. The library staff provide photocopies, bibliographic and location searches and other support. The collection includes theology, catechetics, religious education, philosophy, psychology, education and research methods. The library has a Telematics Unit, and students can also make use of the Internet and an extensive collection of material on CD-Rom. Videos and slides are available for loan. An online version of the Library catalogue is now available from the Library page.
Bookshop.
The Institute's bookshop carries approx 550 titles, and is available to staff, students and visitors. All recommended course books are available, usually from stock, and a mail order service is provided. At present orders can be accepted by post or by telephone (payment by credit or debit card is now accepted.
Year of Faith
The Lord’s Prayer is a seven-session downloadable resource to explore the depth and beauty of the Lord’s Prayer using the Compendium of the Catechism of the Catholic Church in a group setting.

Publications.
The Sower is the journal to keep you in touch with contemporary currents of catechesis in the heart of the Church. Its patrons include Christoph Cardinal Schonborn, editor of the Catechism, Archbishop Vincent Nichols and Bishop William Ion. The Sower provides you with articles on developments in catechetics, accounts of catechetical best practice, reviews of resources, and practical ideas for the Church's mission of handing on the faith.
