MA in Apologetics

Arising from a review of the Ma in Theology Course Maryvale has developed a new pathway in Apologeticsfor the Open University-validated MA in Catholic Pastoral and Educational Studies. This pathway is suitable for anyone wishing to deepen their understanding of the rational foundations of the Catholic worldview in order to be able to engage effectively with the intellectual challenges posed by the secular culture of our time. It is of particular relevance to all involved in preaching and teaching the faith in schools, colleges and parishes.

LAUNCH OF 'ANCHOR' A NEW RESOURCE FOR PARENTS OF FIRST HOLY COMMUNION CHILDREN

This new, six session parish based resource, can be run in much the same way as the now well established Echoes programme. It has been developed by Maryvale Institute's Catechetical Team in close collaboration with the Dominican Sisters of St Joseph to equip parents with a fundamental knowledge and experience of the Faith so that they in turn may be able to pass it on to their children.
